Cloth Diapering

Obviously, it’s a lazy morning in our household. I’ve been able to do a bunch of stuff AND managed to remain stress free. Seriously, it’s wonderful. PLUS, both girls are napping. At. The. Same. Time. I’m loving it.

Anyway, I came back to write because I followed a link (looking for slings) and came accross cotton babies. Cotton babies has a grant program for Missionary families. Each quarter they review the applications that have been emailed to them, and then award a grant to a qualifying missionary family. In their own words:

    Why Do We Do This?
We’ve always wanted to be able to give in a practical way towards the ministries of people who are giving their life to strategically spread the gospel among the unreached. The Diaper Grant for Missionaries is a practical way that we can make a positive impact on a missionary family’s life on an ongoing basis.

The whole idea is inspiring to me. It’s wonderful to see people giving unconventionally. Whenever people (myself included) think about mission support, their first thought often reverts to $$. And don’t get me wrong. That extra cash is helpful. However, not everyone is in a place to be able to give monetarily. It’s inspiring to see how others are able to think outside the box.

Makes me want to run off and make slings to give away! lol.
